What field of study is meteorology concerned with?

Meteorology is specifically focused on the study of weather and atmospheric phenomena. This field involves analyzing atmospheric conditions, weather patterns, climate changes, and forecasting weather events. Meteorologists utilize various tools, such as satellites, radar, and weather models, to observe and predict atmospheric behavior, including temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind, and storm systems.

The other fields mentioned, such as geology and rock study, human behavior, and botany, fall outside the realm of meteorology and deal with different scientific subjects. Geology focuses on the Earth's structure and processes; psychology examines human behavior and mental processes; and botany studies plant life, their growth, and their interactions with the environment.
